ラジオの語学講座で、「人に起こりえる最悪の事はお金を失う事で、その次に最悪の事は健康を失う事…」と誰かの格言を引用していました。でも私は健康でなければお金があっても楽しく日々過ごせないと思います。

While I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday, a voice on the radio said that, “The worst thing that can happen to a man is to lose money, the next worst is his health, and the next worst is his reputation." I couldn't catch all the words, but it seemed to be introducing some celebrity’s maxim.

Money is certainly important, but I think good health is the most indispensable thing for us to lead a peaceful life.

  

Alors que je nettoyais la cuisine hier, une voix à la radio a dit:

 "La pire chose qui puisse arriver à un homme est de perdre de l'argent, vient ensuite sa santé, puis sa réputation." Je n’ai pas pu saisir tous les mots, mais cela semblait être la maxime d'une célébrité.

 L'argent est certainement important, mais je pense qu'une bonne santé est la chose la plus indispensable pour que nous puissions mener une vie paisible.
